Pleasant little Wii entry
We Ski won't exactly make your heart race, but if you're looking for a reasonably amusing ski simulator, this will do nicely. Your character (Mii or a game-generated one) learns the ropes for skiing various slopes, as well as doing air tricks, slaloms and mogul-skiing. Various side-quests get you extra points for new ski gear and clothes.
Suitable for all ages - easy to learn, and non-violent. However, information is all given by text, so if your children cannot read easily, they may find it frustrating.
Hmmmm
I liked some of the features where you can use the Wii remote and nunchuck as ski poles to move your chracter around like you do in real life. And it is interesting using the wii fit board as you skis to turn right or left. But after a while the game got really boring. Some of the race battles were good, but other times your just skiing around seeing some nice things and talking to some characters. Going up the mountain with a chair lift and ski down and you do this repeatedly. I'd rather do this on a real mountain where I'll have more fun. Some of the graphics were good though, but that was all.
