Pokemon: Just As Good As It Ever Was

Yet another video game to be added to the Pokemon franchise. Not that it's a bad thing, though. Pokemon Pearl introduces a whole new set of Pokemon and a new location; Sinnoh. The plot is clever and fun and there's a lot of mini-games available to those who don't feel like battling all the time. There are Pkmn contests, berry picking and planting, archeology, and more. You can go online and play with your friends in the Underground or spend time collecting accessories for your Pokemon.
There are a couple of things that could be improved, though. Once again, it's impossible to get all the Pokemon unless you trade with someone else. If you don't have friends with the game, it can be difficult and frustrating. However, I've heard that you can slip your Pokemon GBA game into the bottom slot of your DS and can trade your Pokemon through there. Also, if your Pokemon likes you a lot, you can't release them into the wild. This takes up room and can get annoying sometimes.
Despite these few flaws, the positive heavily outweighs the negative. Die-hard Pokemon fans shouldn't go without it and for everyone else, it's just plain fun. Overall, it's a very good game and takes hours upon hours to explore and complete.
