Simply a beatiful game!

5.0 / 5.0

This game is simply beatiful.Ye must play as a young lad that lost his family, and for finding it,ye will have to become a pirate!Think yer good engough for this?Yehehe! At the beginning of the game,ye are in a tavern, and ye must chose the difficulty of the game beetween 5 choices, write the man's name,(notice that ya cannot create your own character, for example create his face, choose his sex etc...)and choose what nation to help beetween the Dutch, the Spanish,The Britishs or the Frenchs. Then ya have your ship, and ye enter a city,a Spanish,Dutch,British and vice versa according to your choice in the tavern. If ye decide, for example,to help the British, the governor of the city will tell you that they are in war with another nation, and if ya attack this, other nation, the governor will promote ye.The gameplay is very detailled,ya can enter a town, recruit pirates in a tavern, see a merchand,ye can attack other ships, sink them with your canon ball or board them and then play impressive role playing swords battles, attack towns with an original real time battle system, dance with the governor's daughter, battle Black beard himself, find buried treasures, while keeping your attention on the main quest, where you must retrieve the guy's family.
So Yo-Ho-Ho!I give five stars for this game, shiver me timbers, whoever ye are, reader,ye should get that game!

Educational (but still awesome) Games

I love memories of elementary.  Safety Patrol, raising your hand in the cafeteria before you are excused for recess, read-a-thons, routine lice checks, classroom guinea pig pets named Howie that suddenly disappear and then reappear a week later with suspiciously different markings.  And so forth.  Well, if you grew up in the late 80’s or 90’s, you will also likely remember going to the computer lab for “educational” games.  Thanks to Twitter, I recently found this list of the Top 10 Educationa

Why I Hate World of Warcraft

First of all, let me start out by saying that I love World of Warcraft. How’s that for confusing? I think my main problem with World of Warcraft (aside from it being crazy-addicting) is that for most Warcraft gamers there was no other online MMOs before Warcraft. The genre just magically happened. Also, I used to work with a nutjob who would constantly refer to the game as “wow” and somehow that just annoyed me right into Beelzlebub’s pajama pants. Just like it probably annoys some people when

naughty mame review: dancing eyes - post 262 joerandel | daisy pusher, naughty, video games | 11 18th, 2008| No Comments » Once long ago I reviewed a MAME game.  Not just any MAME game though… a saucy adult one called Sexy Reaction Pachinko.  I said I was going to do more reviews of sexy MAME games but never did…  until now. This one is for a game called Dancing Eyes.  Released in 1996 by Namco, it’s a game that’s sort of like Qix if I had to make a comparison.  You control a little mo
