Trust nintendo brand

5.0 / 5.0

Good and comfortable controller (better than the N64 ones were). It works much better than a 3rd party controller, such as madcatz. If you plan to, or have played "super smash brothers melee"(great game) you will notice how much easier it is to pull-off moves with a nintendo brand controller. It is worth the extra money, no-matter what it says on the third party company's package (dont be fooled by a third party controllers extra button: the "M" button, it does nothing because a nintendo brand controller doesnt have one and the developers design games according to nintendo brand controllers). I never use my cheap madcatz controller (madcatz controller often malfunctions as well), this one is much better, and black goes with everything. My rule of thumb: Nintendo brand game accessories are more reliable, more comfortable, longer lasting, more eye appealing and overall better than third party distributers. It is worth the extra few dollars.

Comfortable, but not functional

2.0 / 5.0

Ever used an X-Box controller? Well, just think of the Gamecube controller as the exact opposite. The X-Box controller is enormous and has a very clunky feel, and it's difficult to use if you have small hands. The Gamecube controller, however, is very easy to use, and it molds into your hands no matter how big your hands are. The thumbsticks are both quite comfortable, making it a controller that you can use with minimal strain.

So what's wrong with the Gamecube controller? It is, simply, too simple (get it?). With only 6 buttons (not including Start), the Gamecube controller just isn't suited for games, such as sports and action games, that need a lot more than 6 buttons. While play "True Crime: Streets of LA", I found myself having to press multiple buttons at the same time and sometimes I wished I had three hands because it was quite the inconvenience! And with the awkward button layout, it's hard to press two or more buttons at once, unless your thumbs bend in very unusual ways. Also, I've noticed the durability of this controller is lacking, the L and R buttons start acting funny after a while. Lastly, the cord is just too freakin' short!

Too bad it's the only controller Nintendo offers besides the pricey wireless Wavebird, because this controller at times just won't do. At least Microsoft released a smaller X-Box controller... Nintendo should release a BETTER gamecube controller.

Excellent controller....short life span.

3.0 / 5.0

I've had my gamecube for about 2 years, and although I have no trouble with the acutal console, I've found that both my controllers now have defective joysticks which tend to stick in one direction all the time. The only buttons that have broken are the L and R ones, which does tend to limit one in certain games. Other than it's short life span, I enjoy using the gamecube controllers more than the X-box and Playstation, it is very comfortable and most of the buttons are in convineant locations(besides the + pad).

Great for 2year's!

I got this controller in June of 2002 after I got my gamecube for my BDAY. Today they both turn by themselves in games and my dad loves Sonic Mega Collection so it drives him nuts. Otherwise its good and I think 4 stars is generous. It has been stepped on by a 300 pound person when I dropped it on the sidewalk and survived so...

Buyer Beware!

1.0 / 5.0

Purchased a game controller which, first, does not look like the Nintendo version and, second, didn't work. I was out of the contry and couldn't test it for two months so the vendor used that as an excuse not to remedy the situation. My advice: do not waste your time or money with this vendor- what you see (or expect) is not what you will get.

Mario Party

Mario Party User Reviews 5 Stars simple, but so much fun I’m more of a simple video game type of person. And i love this game. I remember playing it years ago and still like to take a stab at it every now and then. Love it. 3 Stars Worst of the Series I love Mario and all of his stuff, but I honestly think that the first Mario Party is the worst of the Mario Party series. These graphics are medoicre for a N64. Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time had better graphics. Compared to
