Just as good as the rest of the Backyard Products

4.0 / 5.0

My son got the GBA Backyard Baseball as a gift and loved it. They already had soccer, baseball and football for the PC, so I never thought to get it for the gameboy. They recently got GBA Hockey and love it. We are going to buy a second one so they can link and play against one another.

The backyard games are all terrific and the kids have not lost interest in over a year!!!!

Hockey Fans, This One is for You

5.0 / 5.0

My favorite GBA sports game ever.

I am a hockey fan so I appreciated all of the game elements that Atari included: Off-sides, line changes, 2 line passes, penalty box. I love being able to set my lines and change them as I play and not just between periods.

I can't say enough about the game play. They got it just right. 3 player and a goalie play for each side barring penalties. The contols are intuitive and you have room to pass it around for better shots or power it up for a big slap shot.

They could have made the AI more challenging for single player, and the NHL players that they included aren't all of my favorites, but neither of these problems should hold you back if you are a hockey fan and a fan of good game play.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Zombies Ate My Neighbors one one heck of a great game. Supported by both the SNES and Genesis (Mega Drive for our friends in the U.K.), Zombies was a blast for just about any kid who picked up the paddle back in the 90's. The game itself features countless stages, wild enemies, a host of bizarre everyday weapons and a really great birds eye view angle to absorb all of the action. One of my favorite features about this game is the sound effects and creepy music. There is nothing quite as good as

Why the Nintendo Wii Console Rocks

Why the Nintendo Wii Console Rocks November 22nd, 2008 Subscribe To Our Feed by Jeff Sparks Today, play has a different meaning for kids. With the advancement of technology, playing also follows with it. Kids no longer play ordinary toys instead they already play video games. However, these video games are tagged with negative effects. They say that kids become violent and may lead to obesity. In our fast-paced technology, these games have changed rapidly. And with this change is the bi
