One of the best games ever!

5.0 / 5.0

This game is SO Awesome!!!!!!! There are 56 characters to unlock, possibly the highest amount so far, and each of them has two super moves. In order 2 unlock extra characters and stages, you have to go to Arcade mode and beat it (or quit) or go into training mode, cause the longer you leave your video game system on training mode, the more points you get. A good trick would be to leave your VGS (video game system) on training mode overnight with the TV off, then when you wake up the next morning, quit and you will have TONS of points.
Anyway, if you have a PS2, an Xbox, or a Dreamcast, GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!

this game is the best game i have ever played, dude! It's got rad controls and stuff! I do not have many words to say about this game because it really rocks!

Greatest fighter game ever!

5.0 / 5.0

This game is similar to Capcom vs SNK 2. However this game lacks online play. But the graphics, sound, and the moves are better. The control is very solid, capcom street fighter style, very easy to pull off combos with the S controller. The gameplay control is a bit easier here but its more complex in other ways. In CVS2 you do two fire ball or dragon punch motion to pull off super moves. In Marvel vs Capcom 2 you do one motion with a special move button. There is light and heavy attack and medium attack is removed, but dont let this fool you, this game is just as deep as CVS2. The moves in MVC2 is more complex and prettier when you do them. The team attack is sweet, something CVS2 dont have. Overall this game kicks major ass and is the BEST fighter fame ever along with Capcom vs SNK 2.

Must Have Fighting Game for Fighting, Capcom, and Marvel fan

4.0 / 5.0

This is a great game to own. I loved the gameplay and the addictiveness due to unlocking characters and just the game itself. But it started to get kinda repetitive after a week or two. Many of the characters were just clones of one another (Ryu, Dan, Ken, Akuma). There aren't many different modes or things to do, in fact I just spent most of my time playing arcade mode. But aside from that, I like this game. If you are a Street Fighter fan this game contains many of the more popular street fighters and has all of the characters from the first marvel vs capcom. If you are a Marvel fan, this game gives great moves to spiderman and includes many of the X-men (but most importantly CABLE). I think this is a fun game to play with your friends or at a party, but if you want a game that lasts, I suggest you look into another video game.

an undeservingly underated game

5.0 / 5.0

i know the console versions is not the same as the arcade. but it's still great. over 50 characters compared to marvel vs capcom 1 with only 13. and part 1 was terrible on ps one and dreamcast even in the arcades. so this part 2 is much better. create your own insane 3 on 3 tag team. this game rocks 2d characters in 3d backgrounds wow.

PSN Store Update (US) 05/09/08

As usual the US PSN store update has more substance to it than its EU counter-part. It’s still not great though, unless you have an interest in Qore. Saying that, this month’s Qore gives subscribers access to the Motor Storm 2: Pacific Rift demo. However, I’m sure the demo will be made available over the next two weeks so don’t just buy it for that. Also featured this week is the same Pure demo from the EU store, along with the Haze “Destruction” add-on content. The pack introduces 7 new multi

Review #211

Outcry Developer: Phantomery Interactive Publisher: The Adventure Company Genre: Adventure Release Date: 09/03/2008 Russia puts out some weird surreal video games. It’s one of the reasons I love them so. A few years ago I imported Pathologic and it still remains the freakiest most f’d up game I have ever played. Although it’s never come to North America, you can download it through Gamer’s Gate. Ever since then, I’ve paid close attention to what’s being developed in the remnants of the for

Spore Released Today

After six years of production, Spore, the highly anticipated PC game from EA Sports (also to be available for the iPhone and Nintendo DS), has finally been released. Dubbed “The Year’s Most Anticipated PC Game” by PC World, Spore has been down a roller-coaster of release dates and delays. Today, however, is the day people scramble for their email purchase downloads and run out to gaming stores across the nation. But why? Why are people so excited about it? A quick blog post is not merely enoug

out-of-home video viewing

If the big screen makes movie theaters, then movie theaters aren't likely to prosper in the future. Movie theater screens could be much larger and much higher resolution than they are today. However, in-home television screens have been rapidly growing in size and picture quality. The binding constraint, with rapid technological progress and relatively high incomes, is probably subjective: subjective screen size and image resolution depends greatly on the viewer's seating position (see full cal
