Description

RalliSport Challenge puts you in the driver's seat of rally racing excitement as you race against the clock or go wheel-to-wheel in fierce grudge matches against AI opponents with unique personalities, or up to three of your friends in four-player split-screen competition. Rally racing fans will appreciate the attention to detail: 25 fully licensed cars, four race modes (Hill Climb, "conventional" Rally, Rallycross, and Ice Racing), a wide variety of tracks, locations, and weather conditions, and much more. The game takes full advantage of the power of the Xbox and includes detailed effects such as swaying trees, people and animals running to avoid your car's path, and realistic particle effects as you speed through the course. Misjudge a corner and you'll quickly be rewarded with a spectacular crash and realistic car damage. This is rally racing.

The perfect rally title

5.0 / 5.0

I got this game for free with my Xbox when I ordered it off the Internet. I didn't plan on playing it much (I figured it would be a Gran Turismo-style simulation, and those aren't my cup of tea).

However, this isn't your typical slow rally title. It's an arcade racer at heart, along the lines of Need for Speed. It still has a focus on how you take the turns, but it somehow manages to make them fun. Your car's handling is perfect, and allows you to take turns without slowing down too much if you know what you're doing. You always have that all-important sense of speed, even when you're only going 60 mph or so. The course designs are fun, although it gets really hard towards the end. After you cross the finish line, you're awarded points based on your performance in things like car damage and finish time. Reaching certain combined point levels in the currently-available events unlocks new ones, as well as new cars. If you're into racing, I think you'll really like this game. I definitely did. Thank you, Digital Illusions!

This game is the end all racing game,i dont even normally like racing games because all you do is floor it and win. With this game that isn't always a good ide.It requires actual skil.Anyone who gives this game bad reviews is someone who has just picked up the controller and started playing. You have to master drifting around corners and how to use your speed. This game kicks butt!Go get it right now, I mean, look at at the price!

Rallisport Challenge Rocks

5.0 / 5.0

When I first picked up the controller for this game, I was terrible. I flew off the mountain curves, ran into signs, and often found my car just rolling around on the ground; yet it was fun! Many people I hear prefer "Colin McRae 3" for the simulation factor and I recently had the opportunity to test it out. I thought it was fine, but the controls weren't what I wanted. Also it felt much slower paced. Rallisport Challenge is a fast paced thrill ride which sends you from icey roads to downhill mountain tracks. I constantly find myself getting faster and faster in each track. Drifting and power sliding is essential, this isn't just a grip driving game. And if the controls do bother you, (it tends to be sensative, which is why I like it) you can always tweak it to your liking. It has deadzone and sensativity options. The graphics are top notch too for a game that's roughly 2 years old now. I just bought a new video card (AIW 9800 Pro) and it has further enhanced the realism of this game. I highly recommend this game for rally enthusiasts or just anyone who likes racing games in general.

Great Racing Game

5.0 / 5.0

Rallisport Challenge is a top notch racing game. It's challenging, exciting, has great graphics, the courses are well done and the Rally cars are awesome!

Its beginner and expert friendly. Anyone can pick this one up and have fun, only an expert can unlock all tracks and cars.

The multiplayer is nice but you better have a big TV, as its a little hard to see the course, but its fun anyway.

Cons are that it restarts you when you veer off course ever so slightly, no shortcuts on this game. The multiplayer menus are a llittle bit of a pain, when you select a new course it makes you select a car too, everytime.

All in all its a great racing game!

Xbox Scored major points with this!!

4.0 / 5.0

First of all, I dont own Xbox, i own a PS2, but I was impressed big time with RalliSport Challenge. The car physics are remarkably realistic with spin-outs, powerslides, jumps, car damage e.t.c. A plethora of racetracks on different terrain which are accurate and a good selection of licensed rally cars are available.(Subaru WRC impreza's my fave). The game's AI is sufficiently difficult for a challenge, and u can't afford to take your eye off the track for a sec. I'm a racing game nut, but you don't have to be to enjoy this title. The selection screen is easy to navigate, so for those impatient one's, you can jump right in. I'm at my cousins house every weekend to play this title...considering i hate Xbox and it's owners ;-). This is a must have. Two Thumbs Up.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Zombies Ate My Neighbors one one heck of a great game. Supported by both the SNES and Genesis (Mega Drive for our friends in the U.K.), Zombies was a blast for just about any kid who picked up the paddle back in the 90's. The game itself features countless stages, wild enemies, a host of bizarre everyday weapons and a really great birds eye view angle to absorb all of the action. One of my favorite features about this game is the sound effects and creepy music. There is nothing quite as good as
