BANG BANG BANG I WWWIIINNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 / 5.0

This game is decent. But when you get to battle there is nothing
better.

Good game

4.0 / 5.0

In the mid-late nineties, Monster Rancher was released on the Playstation. Unfortunately, the game was NEVER very popular, and slipped under just about everybody's radar. Fortunately, I was one who discovered the game, and was extremely impressed by its unmatched uniqueness. Now the series has arrived on the GBA! Read on for my review.

Graphics: Obviously not the best you'll find on the system, but they're certainly better than those found in a lot of other games. 4/5

Play Control: Outside the battles, the control is basically a series of point and click menus. The in-battle controls are weird at first, but you'll adjust in time. 3.5/5

Challenge: Here's a game that just keeps getting harder as you go along. You must win tournaments to increase your rank as a monster breeder. As you go up in rank, so do the challenges. This is NOT an easy game. 4.5/5

Theme/Fun: Amazing game. You can't use CDs to get monsters, though (you just have to type in words). But you can still breed them, train them, battle them, take them on expeditions, the fun almost never stops! And, it's got plenty of hidden stuff, too. There is even more diversity here than in the first game. If you're one of those poor souls who ones a GBA but haven't found a good game yet, this is a very fun and highly recommended one, AND IT'S CERTAINLY NO POKEMON CLONE! 4.75/5

Sound/Music: The music is of a very happy and upbeat sort, and the sounds match their respective causes well. 3.75/5

Storyline: Train your monsters so you can become the best monster breeder in the world. It's a simple story, but it works. 3.5/5

Originality: It's kind of shame you can't use CDs to get monsters in this game, since it's on the GBA, but it's still a good game. This game, contrary to popular belief, IS NOT A POKEMON CLONE! This was released first, and the style of gameplay is totally different. 3/5

Replay Value: There are so many different monsters out there you can try training, that the replay value is virtually infinite. 5/5

Overall score: 4.25/5
This is an excellent game. Though it was never wildly popular, it has certainly stood the test of time. If you own a GBA and you've never played this game, you're missing out on a lot.

This game is cool

5.0 / 5.0

This game is really fun. You can make monsters, go to battles, and buy stuff. You can also put your monsters into hybernation if you don't want to use them anymore. You can only use one monster at a time. I would really buy this game and it's worth the 40 dollars. There are lots of levels and if you get an invitation for a match to get a dragon, go to the match. A code name for a dragon is lemon. :)

Monster rancher is a good game

5.0 / 5.0

I'm a monster rancher fan and i have played most of the monster rancher games and his is not queit the best one. This version of monster rancher has some monsters taken out like the wheel or plants and dogs but this game is really great its replay value is great I SUGGEST to not beat this game early and dont cheat it will ruin the funness and but even if you beat the game early its replay value will kick in thats why i give this game a 10/10

GAME CONTENT
Generate and raise monsters from words
Train and battle
Earn money and gain in rank and get permission to raise special monsters

Monster Ranchers Unite

Eat Sleep Play (Interview)

Interview with Jaffe and Campbell, founders of Eat Sleep Play. Covers a wide variety of topics. God of War 3, platform exclusivity, future projects, closing studios, among others. Interesting tidbit: Quote: Again, Scott had plenty to say concerning this topic, but it’s stuff they wish to keep under wraps right now. We can tell you a few things he said: first of all, they’re using the Warhawk engine as the basis for the game. This makes sense, of course, as Warhawk was an Incognito title.

US VC update Merry Christmas!?

We only get 1 game this update(what a surprise….) But the shocking part is that is is not a first party Nintendo game. So no Earthbound or kirby dreamland. However we do get a game that people have been wanting for a while. Some say its one of the best RPGs ever. Its: Sega Genesis Phantasy Star IV (800 pts) Ive never been a big fan of the phantasy star games, but i have always heard good things about the series especially this one. Maybe i will try it out.Â* As for WiiWare we get Tiki Tower

Legend of Zelda Fan Film On The Way

Legend of Zelda Fan Film On The Way December 23, 2008 There’s been a lot of fan films based on video games in recent times, and the tidal wave isn’t stopping any time soon; now we’re moving on from obvious entires like Tomb Raider to more exotic fare, like flicks based on the classic Nintendo series, The Legend of Zelda. That game is now the inspiration for an upcoming feature-length fan effort, The Hero of Time. A collaboration between director/co-producer Joel Musch and actor/co-producer D

There is “significant interest” in the purchase of Free Radical

ReSolve, the appointed administrator of Free Radical, has told Edge that there has already been a “significant interest” shown in the purchase of this video game developer. Free Radical was just officially placed into administration just a few hours after they refused entry to staff members. A number of companies were in Free Radical’s home city of Nottingham yesterday to say there goodbyes as “well over 100” people left the group. Realtime Worlds, Codemasters, Monumental and Eurocom were
