Probably the biggest surprise of the show, Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II deserves every syllable of its incredibly long name. Why? It's simply the best realization of the magic the original Star Wars brought to the screen in 1977. The musical cues, the sound effects, and even the X-wing's targeting screen (use the Force, Luke) is perfectly appropriate. Don't even get us started on the movielike visuals--one looping maneuver into the Death Star trenches and we were drooling on our shirts.
You play as Luke, with R2 riding shotgun, and you stick it to the man in 11 missions over ice planet Hoth, the Death Star, and other fabulously familiar locales. LucasArts and game developer Factor 5 definitely stayed on target for this one. --Porter B. Hall

i got a used copy packaged as new from amazon. i then tried to get it replaced, and they sent me a 2nd used copy.
Star Wars First Hand!!!!!
This game's great! A classic that you'll never want to stop playing!!! I personally like this because it brings you through the classic battles like: THE BATTLE OF HOTH, and DEATH STAR ATTACK!!!
You play as Luke Skywalker as you pilot lots o' ships, blow up Tie- fighters, Tie-bombers, Star destroyers and Walkers. The graphics and sound are much too good for such an early game. (NOTE:Get a lot of medals so you can access the music hall!)
The only flaw I'd say is the length of it. It's too short, the missions are really fun but you finish it very quickly... I'd still recommend this game still though because you will sometime have an urge to play it. Don't sell it! You're going to regret that for it's a game you can play over and over again.

Now, let's see, yet another staw wars game, right? If you thought that this game was just another Star Wars game, this game would proove you wrong. Firstly, the graphics are amazing!!!!! They're so rich and detailed. You really can't appreciate the graphis from some screenshot. You literally have to see it to believe it. One level that really stands out is the Hoth level, how the snow blows up behind your speeder. (by the way, there are LOTS of ships you control) Really, everything is soooooooooooooooooo detailed. Lucas Arts really must have really put a lot of effort into the graphics. Next, the missions. ALL of the missions are also very engaging. They never seem tedious or boring. None of the missions seemed to be after-thoghts. The control scheme is intuitive. It isn't twitchy or overly sensitive or overly insensitive, they're juuuuuuuust right. You can also communicate with your fellow squadmates VERY easily. Really, even if you don't like shooters, buy this game, it's a masterpiece.

This is a great game, the graphics are extordinary. If you have access to cheat codes, that really helps. The levels are not too hard, and some are a little too easy, but once you get to the 4th or 5th, the levels get challenging. The endor battle is really cool, but I only beat it with a cheat for infinite lives. I used up 10 of them beating it. Get this game, it is one of the best ever.
The Star Fox games are much better.
This game is so stupid.It took me 3 weeks just to get to the third level.The challenge is too hard for a normal person and the missions are very tedious.I miss straight forward action shooters where the only mission you have to do is shoot other space fighters and beat the boss.That may sound simplistic but done right like in Star Fox its awesome.This game is really dumb.
